Education: Graduated summa cum laude from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science, 1985. Graduated summa cum laude, second in his class, from the University of Puget Sound School of Law 1989. Served as a Clerk for the Honorable Edward P. Reed, 1989-1990 and the Honorable J. Dean Morgan 1990-1991, Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II.

Professional Memberships: He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Tacoma-Pierce County bar Association and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Other Memberships: Served as a chairman on the Board of Directors for CenterForce, a non-profit organization that seeks to assist persons with disabilities and obtaining employment and community living skills, 19901-1991, YMCA Board of Directors, 1995-Present, Member of Puyallup South Hill Rotary, President. Civic Activities: Literacy Tutoring volunteer.

Areas of Practice: Boyd’s practice emphasizes injury claims, including auto accidents and products liability, and general and commercial litigation.
