Personal: Patricia is married to Hollis Barnett. They have three children and have resided in the Puyallup area since 1971. Patricia was raised in the Spokane area and moved to Puyallup area with her husband. She enjoys music, singing, golfing and snowmobiling.

Education: Patricia attended Whitman College on a music scholarship in 1961/62. While Whitman, she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Patricia transferred to the University of Alaska where she was student body president her senior year, and was also a delegate selected from the university to represent the university at the White House in Washington D.C. She graduated from the University of Alaska in 1965 with a B.S. in Home Economics. She attended Gonzaga Law School, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1970. While at law school, Patricia was secretary of Gonzaga Law School student body in 1967 and for two years was a member of the Gonzaga Law Review and a winner of a Moot Court Competition.

Professional Memberships: Patricia is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Pierce County Bar Association as well as a member of the Washington State Bar Association Elder Law Section.

Other Memberships and Civic Activities: Puyallup Main Street Association Board of Directors 1989-1994, President 1991-1992; member of Good Samaritan Mental Health Board of Directors 1981-1990, Chairman 1988-1989; member of Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Directors 1995-Present; member of Puyallup Schools Foundation Board of Directors 1990-Present, member Karschner Orthopedic Guild, Mary Bridge Hospital 1976-Present; High Cedars Ladies Golf Club member and Tacoma Women’s Golf Association.

Areas of Practice: Patricia emphasizes estate planning, trust, probate, guardianships, elder law and adoptions.
