Personal: Shannon is a northwest native, born in Portland, Oregon. She and her husband, R.J. reside in West Seattle with their son.

Education: Shannon graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in English, 1994. She also graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law, Juris Doctor, in 1998.

Professional Memberships: Tacoma-Pierce County and Washington State Bar Associations; Washington State Trial Lawyers Association; Admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington, 1999; Puyallup Main Street Association Board Member.
