Deborah has been a trial attorney for over 10 years. Nearly 100 percent of her trial experience has involved injured people. Throughout her career, she has spared no amount of effort in obtaining full justice for her clients. Her compassion and dedication to her clients is her number one priority.
During her first years of her practice, however, Ms. Purcell represented the insurance companies, defending the bad drivers who caused injuries in motor vehicle, wrongful death, product liability and construction site injury cases. She knows insurance defense inside and out. In return, insurance companies know Deborah Purcell. They used to hire her, and relied on her sound advice and expert trial skills. Now, when Ms. Purcell acts as a personal injury attorney on behalf of injured plaintiffs, the insurance companies know they are up against a worthy opponent.
Personal
Deborah moved to Washington from Colorado in 2001. She currently lives in Kent, Washington with her young son, Austin. Deborah enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including sailing, skiing and hiking. She also enjoys the theater and cinema.
Education
Deborah graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Philosophy. Thereafter, she attended the University of Denver College of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1998. Deborah is licensed to practice law in both Washington and Colorado.
