Brian is an associate working primarily in our firm’s commercial litigation and real estate practice. Brian lives in Tacoma with his wife, a northwest native who he met while attending law school in Oklahoma. Brian’s hobbies include camping and hiking with his wife, traveling whenever possible, and college football in the fall. Brian is also an enrolled Tribal member and enjoys volunteering at Native American community events.

Areas of Practice

Brian is an associate working in our firm’s commercial litigation and real estate practice, but he also handles employment disputes and some personal injury actions. Brian received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2012. While at Oklahoma, Brian was a member of the Native American Law Students Association and served as an editor on the Oklahoma Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Brian worked as a ninth-grade algebra teacher in inner-city Houston. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005, where he studied government and history.

Prior to joining Campbell, Dille, Barnett & Smith, PLLC, Brian worked for an insurance-defense firm in Tacoma where his practice focused on the defense of personal-injury and professional negligence claims.

Brian is licensed to practice in the State of Washington, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Aside from regularly handling matters in Pierce County Superior Court, Brian has represented clients before the Washington Court of Appeals.


Brian is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers, Defense Research Initiative, and Northwest Indian Bar Association.
